Support the Lions Beach Capital Campaign

The Janesville Lions Club celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2022

In May 2022 the Janesville Lions Club will celebrate its 100th anniversary. The capstone of our centennial year will be the installation of a large pavilion in cooperation with the City of Janesville Parks Department at our namesake Lions Beach.

The pandemic has caused some delays and increased the expected budget by more than 50% of our original projections. However, our club is committed to making this dream into a reality, and has bolstered its fundraising efforts to ensure the pavilion gets built in 2022.

To date, the Janesville Lions Club and its members have committed more than $40,000 of the estimated $125,000 project budget, and in April 2022 received a $59,000 award from the City of Janesville’s Pay It Forward grant program.

Our fundraising total is approaching $120,000 and the finish line is in sight. We are asking residents and local businesses to support our plan and donate toward the balance.
